Huang
Baiqu (1949--),biologist, professor ,adviser of doctor,
born in Shanghai in 1949.
He got the doctor's degree of Eindingburg University
in the UK in 1986.Now he is the head of the Institute of Genetics
and Cytology in NENU.At the meantime ,he is the managing director
of Chinese Cell-Biology Institute,the managing director of Chinese
Genetics Committee,member of Academic Degree Committee of the
State Council ,expert of Chinese Natural Sciences Fund Committee,
member of the Biology -Teaching Guide Committee of the Ministry
of Education ,the chairman of Genetics Committee of Jilin Province
,etc..And he was the representative of the 8th and the 9th National
People's Congress.
He began to got the special government allowance from
the State Council from 1992.He gained the Talent Medal from
Jilin Provincial Party committee and the government in 1994.
 He
was granted the title "the outstanding person coming back
from abroad"by the state personnel ministry and the state
educational committee in 1996.He was granted the model worker
in the state educational system and he also got the title of
model teacher of the state in 1998.He was successively granted
the provicial excellent expert of Jilin Province.He was chosen
as young-middle aged scientific and technological expert who
made prominent contribution to Jilin Province in 1998.In 1999,he
was one of the first specially-appointed professors of "Yangtz
River Scholar Awarding Plan".He is engaged in the teaching
and research of cell-biology and molecular biology.He has successively
directed almost twenty scientific researches of the Ministry
of Education of Jilin Province and the state Natural Sciences
Fund such as : "863 Plan" of the state , "Ascent
Plan " of the state," the key basic research development
plan programm (973)".
He started and developed lots of researches ,such as
the adjusting and controlling of real-nucleus genetic expressing
,plant-gene project and cell project ,producing medicine and
activated protein ,researching on anticancer drugs and modernizing
of Chinese medicine . And he gained a series of high-standard
achievements in scientific research .He got the third prize
of the natural science of the state, the first prize and the
second prize of  scientific
and technical progress from the state Ministry of Education,
the second prize of science and techniques of state colleges
and universities .He also gained two science and techniques
progress prize of Jilin ministry of education, the first prize
of excellent teaching achievements in Jilin Province .He has
published more than 90 theses in the important academic magazine
in and abroad as well as written one monograph and compiled
three.
